An experienced communications professional who spent more than eight years at prominent Portland agencies before joining Rise's LA office, Liz has worked extensively with nonprofit, government, consumer, corporate, and small business clients. She has developed strategies for organizations such as the ACLU of Oregon, Habitat for Humanity Portland Region, Cascade AIDS Project, Innovation Law Lab, Transition Projects, Oregon Health Authority, Clackamas County, Bob’s Red Mill, Dave’s Killer Bread, and many more.

Among her specialties are identifying key media moments, elevating her clients' reputations, and crafting integrated campaigns aimed at shifting narratives and challenging stigma. As a strategic thinker and results-driven storyteller, Liz continually brings fresh ideas to help her clients capitalize on opportunities through communications, marketing, advertising and PR.

A graduate of the University of Oregon with degrees in both public relations and political science, Liz developed a love of communications while working in community organizing and advocacy with various nonprofits during college. A natural networker, she believes communications can be used to build bridges between groups, highlighting our shared humanity to develop trust and, ultimately, to relate to and rely on one another.

Liz is a poet and artist who enjoys traveling, music and reading. Outside of work, she serves on the executive board of her local rugby team and keeps herself busy with two energetic dogs.
