Maria joins Rise from Hill + Knowlton Strategies with experience in account management, media relations and social media management experience. She worked in a variety of sectors ranging from healthcare to energy in different specialties. As a native Spanish speaker, Maria has experience creating content and securing media coverage in bilingual publications.

 

Previously, Maria worked at Mercury Public Affairs where she worked on communications campaigns and lobbying efforts for clients such as LA County Health Services and Amazon. She has also worked in the consumer sector with clients such as Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel, Absolut, and Paris Hilton.

 

Maria graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, with a degree in communications and a minor in marketing and professional sales.
